The design is composed of four vignettes, separated in pairs vertically, in the center of the composition by a strip composed of trophies symbolizing the elements, and at the repeat, by a strip showing the signs of the zodiac: A: upper left, Juno seated in a chariot drawn over the clouds by peacocks and accompanied by amoretti (personifying Air); Lower left, Vulcan forging armour (personifying Fire) see also 1898-21-10-b and 1898-21-10-c
