Bacchus shown enthroned in circular vaulted temple. Priest stands behind altar in background, while offerings brought to Bacchus. At center, Bacchus and Ariadne hold each other's hands. Woman behind them raises wreath. Two putti fly. Bacchus rides in chariot drawn by panthers toward left. At left interval, pen sketch of arm holding pitcher; in right one, pen sketch of man sacrificing wine. Part of framing in center lower edge.
